Microcement & Wood Furniture

Thanks to our in-house carpentry workshop, we can work and shape the wood to create unique, fully customised pieces in terms of dimensions, proportions, textures, tones and finishes. CimentStudio microcement and wood tables offer a versatile, durable and visually strong solution for homes, offices and professional spaces.

These tables combine the warmth of wood with the mineral texture of microcement, creating well-balanced pieces that work equally well as a dining table, meeting table or for contract spaces. We work with woods such as oak, walnut, beech, ash and solid pine, carefully selecting the grain, tone and leg design that best fits your project.

FAQs

Microcement and wood tables combine the best of both worlds: the continuous, hard-wearing surface of microcement and the natural warmth of wood. Microcement gives you a very clean, easy-to-maintain, contemporary-looking top, while the wood brings visual warmth and a pleasant, tactile feel.
The result is a microcement and wood dining table that feels balanced rather than cold – perfect for spaces where you want strong design, but also a real sense of home.

There are several options depending on the design: a microcement tabletop with a wooden frame and legs, a wooden table with specific areas finished in microcement, or designs where the wood appears as a detail (edges, crosspieces, joints, etc.).
In each project we define how microcement and wood connect so that the table is solid, stable and visually coherent. We like the transition between both materials to look intentional, not improvised.

Yes, all our microcement and wood tables are made to measure. We can adjust the length, width and height, define the type of wood (oak, pine, etc.), choose the tone of the microcement and design the shape of the base. This way, the table fits your dining room, living room or workspace not only in style, but also in proportions.

Microcement can be cleaned with a soft cloth and neutral soap, avoiding abrasive products. The wood, depending on its finish (oiled, varnished, etc.), may need a little extra care over time: reapplying oil, small surface touch-ups and similar maintenance.
We always provide tailored care instructions for your microcement and wood table, adjusted to how and where you’re going to use it.

On a functional level, we build our microcement and wood tables to the same structural standards as the rest. The microcement section uses the same layered system and sealing, and the wooden section is dimensioned to withstand loads and everyday use. What really matters is the overall design of the table: structure, joints and materials all work together to create a robust, long-lasting dining table.

Yes – in fact, it’s one of the combinations people ask us for the most. A microcement and wood dining table works really well with a microcement coffee table, a microcement TV unit or even microcement lamps. Because they share the same colour and texture language, the whole space feels more coherent and intentionally designed.
